GENTLE RELEASE THERAPY
Gentle Release Therapy (GRT) is a very gentle, non-invasive therapy that works to release physical, energetic and emotional blocks. GRT uses gentle and intuitive touch to allow the body to release and rebalance wherever it needs to.
GRT draws on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and incorporates abdominal, cranial and spinal release techniques, as well as endocrine balancing, lymphatic drainage and emotional release techniques as required. It can help the body release stress and tension, allowing a whole new level of relaxation, and may help with ailments such as joint or muscle pain, migraines, hormonal issues, emotional trauma and so much more.

GRT has been described as a gentle combination of energy work and acupuncture (without the needles!). Appointments are normally hands on and carried out over clothing, and can be booked for durations of 45 minutes up to two hours. If preferred, online treatments are available; please state in the notes when booking if you would prefer a virtual rather than an in-person treatment and I will contact you to confirm arrangements for your session.

GRT VAGUS NERVE TREATMENT
The vagus nerve is the tenth cranial nerve and a key part of our parasympathetic nervous system, helping to calm the body after stressful situations. It acts as the body's internal control system, allowing the brain to receive and monitor information about crucial bodily functions such as breathing, heart rate, digestion, immune response and mood. Working with the vagus nerve can help to regulate heart rate, reduce blood pressure, promote overall cardiac health, promote healthy metabolism and digestion, reduce inflammation, regulate emotions, improve immune response and hormonal health, alleviate headaches and migraines, support anxiety and depression and improve stress response. The GRT vagus nerve treatment combines GRT with advanced techniques such as vagus nerve release, nervous system regulation, brain release and HPA axis release. It is divided into four in-depth protocols, normally carried out over four treatment sessions of up to two hours each, spaced approximately 2-3 weeks apart to allow your body time to process. It must be booked as a block to allow full progression through the treatment stages.
